The Parisian designer offered unisex clothing throughout the 1960s that celebrities such as Twiggy and John Lennon often showcased. Now Ted Lapidus is known as the exclusive accessory and fragrance line.

In 1975, he collaborated with L'Oreal and released Vu – a fragrance for men – before going on to establish a collection of both men's and women's scents.
