L'Erbolario

L'Erbolario began life as a herbalist shop in Lodi, where it offered unique cosmetics created in the back room. By relying on much-loved family recipes, Franco Bergamaschi and Daniela Villa were able to offer formulas every bit as effective as they were appealing to the senses. From aromatic waters to bath oils, each and every creation was marked by its natural origin, pleasing aesthetics and lack of any artificial fragrance.

This simple ethos saw the brand go from strength to strength, and it wasn't long before they were upgrading to a more spacious site on the banks of the Adda river. What had once been a small-scale family operation was soon embarking on thousands and thousands of steam distillations per year. Today, the brand has established its own research and development laboratory, as well as an international reputation that stretches far beyond the borders of its native Italy.
