Kilian Hennessy is no stranger to luxury blends. But his decision to pursue a career in perfumery still signified something of a departure from the family business, which had revolved around the creation of the iconic cognac house.

It was a childhood spent in his family's cellars that first versed him in the language of aroma. In fact, the fusion of sweetness and wood that fills a cognac cellar has become something of a signature of his own collection.

Having received an education at Dior, Giorgio Armani and Paco Rabanne, to name but three of the high-end brands he worked for, Kilian launched his own self-titled brand, one that could unite elegance and rarefied luxury. Since then, the brand has gone on to design and create a number of exquisite scents, each one of which embodies its founder's artistic ideals in its own unique way.
