The labdanum flower combines with Sichuan and violet peppers to open the scent with warmth, before falling away into a heart of rose, orange blossom and patchouli, which extends the spicy chord at the same time as adding an enlivening floral twist. Counterpointing this lively interplay, a base of musk, amber, vanilla and benzoin provides sweetness, smoothness and a rich earthy depth.
All this complexity, however, is distilled into a beautifully simple fragrance that intrigues from the very first moment that it touches your skin.
